Also digging these dudes - pretty brutal hardcore/thrashy-style shit. Free EP d/l if you're into it. https://www.facebook.com/blackshapes?sk ... 8091127385

So what bands do you recommend like Deez Nuts or the California music of Winds of Plague?

Since this thread will be flooded with about 800 posts of suburbanwhiteboygangstamosh I'll get a few licks in. Here's the generic d-beat that, to me, is way fucking heavier and intense.

This song is basically Bolt Thrower with lousier production. Fuck it.

I srsly don't mind d-beat, but I really can't differentiate 90% of crusty d-beat bands from one another.
Everyone who records nowadays uses fake drums, faggot.

Yes most of it is samey-sounding. I tend to enjoy the bands with the better production values a little more. I like Disfear and sort of like Martyrdod and Massgrav just for being batshit but generally prefer the bands with deeper borderline death dubstep vocals. I think Wolfpack and Driller Killer currently pull this off pretty well. They sound like it just comes naturally to them, whereas the bands with the higher or more nasally "heartfelt" screamy vocals end up sounding like little kids trying way too hard. That's what most of those Entombedcore bands just don't get. Entombed, Comecon, Dismember, Repulsion were influenced by d-beat, which is beefed up Discharge/Motorhead, swaggering berserk alpha-male Don't Give a Fuck riffs and skank beats. You can't have nasally/high tortured artist vocals over that. Shit's just like what happens whenever the bench warmers from the high school football team decide they want to hang out with the auto shop kids because one of them dropped the captain of the football team with one shot.

I fucking love Disfear. Well, Live the Storm at least, production is crushing.
