This was my first thought despite not bothering to read past the first 2 posts in that fb thread or listening to this band with the fggty Christmasy name. Also, did anyone ever watch SNL for the new and/or awesome music?

Even worse, this is an old punk guy (and I was a longtime fan of 7seconds even if I can't give a shit these days) now whining about bands on major tv network programs (remember when Minor Threat and the Cro-Mags played SNL back in the 80s? No? Me neither) via a mega-corporate, yet dying due to old and out of touch and stupid layout/etc changes, social network that seems mostly the realm of old people these days. Seriously? I can just picture the old fart sitting at home on a Saturday, watching Comcast-fed casts of SNL, plugging away on his Iphone about this on fb, while drinking budweiser, thinking about how his insipid values still matter and missing the olden tymes, all while missing the irony.

Honestly, I sorta wish all the old punk/hxc guys I grew up with caring about in the 80s-early 90s would have died and not become angry but impotent, out-of-touch, old men (except Choke, cause he's still lulzy as fuck).

Choke is friends with K Seconds and rarely posts, but when he does the wailing and gnashing of teeth can be heard all the way from the rippingest town to the west coast.

I don't doubt it, yet as I recall Choke was always like that, even as a young man. For whatever reason, I find him to be hilarious and wish he would start doing spoken word old man rants a la Rollins (srs). They would be so fucking hilarious even if he didn't realize it.

This guy seems like an asshole
